Barbara Edwards, Deputy Director, interviews Cinque Cullar, Artistic Director for the Tribe of Judah. As a part of the Black Belt Arts Initiative, the Council sponsored a contemporary Gospel tour featuring the Tribe of Judah in Selma and Union Springs. The tour included an education component and a public performance. During this interview, Mr. Cullar offers his definition of Gospel music, talks about his work with the Tribe of Judah, and comments on the Black Belt Gospel Tour.
